The breaking of a wave does not mean the ocean is broken. It is as it should be – the collision of the coming against the going, the old into the new, the over becoming one with the under, the visible with the invisible. When change makes us feel broken we are really being confronted with a choice. We can be crushed by the tumult, or we can ride the tumult, and use it to catapult us toward our goals. The power is not in the wave, but in our resolve.
