Father-Daughter
Perhaps it is because I am a father of two wonderful daughters, but this is one of my favorite deer photos. It’s common to see fawns with their mothers, but this is the only time I have ever seen a fawn with a buck, presumably her father. I was with this pair for over half an hour and never did see a doe. Eventually they meandered off into the woods together. I’m not an expert in deer behavior, but I would say this was a pretty remarkable sighting.
