I’ve enjoyed photographing these birds over the years. The subject of migration is a constant fascination of mine, and a growing concern. Climate change and the destruction of habitat is changing the way animals move around. Sure, you may think we could do with fewer cranes, but how about honey bees and monarch butterflies and miller moths? We live in a fragile environment where changes to small creatures can absolutely affect you and me. Thanks for letting me make you aware, and for continuing your education in the importance of migrations.
