Just a few of the many...
“My life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue, an everlasting vision of the ever-changing view. A wond’rous woven magic in bits of blue and gold, a tapestry to feel and see impossible to hold.” lyrics by Carole King
Woven into the fabic of my life has been literally hundreds (thousands?) of family, friends, aquaintances, and role models as well as countless others that I have never personally met but who have influenced my direction. Oh! They come and go much too quickly! Each one holds a special place in my heart. I have climbed mountains with them, taken amazing photographs with them, worked side-by-side with them. To the ones I have witnessed the evolutions and revolutions of the world with, survived great storms with, endured hardship with, laughed with, drank (way too much) with, I wish I could say thank you. I miss the presence of so many that have gone on, but then I remember there are new ones starting out that need me just as much. “Let us run with endurance the race set before us” (Hebrews 12:1) and let us live every day to the fullest. Let us climb higher, run further, swim deeper, sing louder, work smarter, and most of all love more dearer than ever.
