Wednesday WILD Feature –
Bald Eagle (a not-very-magnificient-yet juvenile)
State Forest State Park, Colorado
This forlornly juvenile was accompanied by it’s parents who were keeping a very watchful eye on me as I navigated my way into position to photograph. I never did get a clear shot of the adults through the trees, but enjoyed watching them nonetheless. It always feels like a privilege when a wild animal allows you into their space, which for this eagle was about 1/4 mile.
