Second Eyes

February 12, 2019 by Doug Rudnik

Life’s splendor forever lies in all its fullness for all those who see with second eyes.

Sinopah Mountain and Twin Medicine Lake, Montana

Peak Week, Day 3

“Second Eyes”

”Second Eyes” will mean something different to different people. It could be the heart, or the soul….At first glance a mountain just looks like rock, then you look deeper. Rock is our closest tie to the original earth “without form and void.” I can hold pieces of it in my hand. In that moment I can bridge the time and space of eons. To feel it’s texture, it’s weight, see the layers, wonder how they came to be, and what they have to say to me now. That’s my version of second eyes. 😊
